Academic Affiliation was founded with a simple yet powerful vision: to make technology education accessible to students from all academic backgrounds, particularly those without formal computer science training.

We recognized a growing gap between the technical skills demanded in today's job market and the education provided in traditional non-CS disciplines. Students from fields like biology, economics, agriculture, and the humanities were increasingly expected to use advanced technological tools, yet lacked the training to do so effectively.

Starting with just three courses and a handful of dedicated instructors, we set out to create tailored IT education that speaks directly to the needs and contexts of non-CS students. Our approach focuses on practical applications relevant to students' fields of study, rather than abstract concepts.

Today, we're proud to have helped over 5,000 students from diverse academic backgrounds gain valuable IT skills that have enhanced their research capabilities, improved their career prospects, and opened new opportunities for innovation in their fields.
